Today’s edition of Fifty on Fridays we go back to New York City on December 4, 1970, which was a rather warm (for December in NY) 50 F, so I would bet the Christmas shopping was in full swing, and the tired and frustrated husbands might be sneaking away from an hours long marathon spree in Macy’s, up a few blocks to Times Square, to check out PURE PLEASURE at the Eros 1 or maybe THE POSTGRADUATE at the Cameo Art on 44th Street. And we yet again find our favorite burlesque maven, Olga La Blanche, at the 42nd Street Playhouse (with Lulu this time…).
