A few months ago we did a post about a (formerly) mysterious painting, Monique, that shows up in a number of very early adult films (a growing number actually, we’ve found several more sightings in just the last few weeks!), which we discovered was painted by the artist Ramon Montini. In that post we also presented several other paintings by him for your consideration, never expecting to find another Ramon painting linked to the world of smut. But as happens all to often in this crazy hobby of ours, the unexpected of course happened.
And what we turned up quite by accident, as I’m sure you’ve already guessed from the title and from looking ahead to the photos (we caught you sneaking a peek) is Monique’s sister Mimi hanging out (get it!) with adult film legend Uschi Digard!
So this begs the question: where was this photograph taken? Was it at Uschi’s house?
A photographer’s studio?
The same place that Mimi’s sister Monique is believed to have resided (Jack Descent’s Studio 35)?
Or maybe at the house of a collector of Ramon’s work?
Or maybe at Ramon’s actual house?
The truth is we don’t know, yet. But my first guess is not Cinema 35, since the rest of the shot doesn’t look like what’ we’d expect, we don’t see any other tell-tale props from there, and also because we’ve never seen Mimi in any other Cinema 35 films. My second guess is at someone’s house or apartment, and that leaves the possibility open that it could even have been at Uschi’s pad…
But wait! There’s more!
Yep, we also uncovered a second photo of Mimi and Uschi, although this time we get a lot less of Mimi and a lot more of Uschi (and yet I don’t hear anyone complaining…). But alas it gives us no further clues as to the provenance of the picture or the location of the shoot. However Uschi does appear to be dressed exactly the same (in as much as she is dressed), so it’s more than probable these were from the same shoot; what that tells us is pretty much nothing, but perhaps worth pointing out for those that might not have noticed.
In any case, we’ll keep an eye out moving forward for more Mimi sightings, and you do to and report back to Uncle Spicy post-haste if you find anything.
By the way, we’ve done an incredibly deep dive on Uschi and determined a decent amount of her accepted backstory is only one or two levels above bunk, however just enough of it is accurate to ….well, stay tuned. At some point in perhaps the far distant future we’ll be at liberty to continue that statement.
